Forbo Flooring Systems is giving architects and interior designers the chance to win a luxury UK holiday worth up to £6,500, with this year’s Fly Forbo 2020/21 competition.
Established in 2012, the annual Fly Forbo competition recognises the crème de la crème of commercial projects, featuring an inspirational use of Forbo’s products.
However, due to COVID-19, Forbo has adapted this year’s competition to make the prize more accessible without compromising on luxury or excitement. As such, Fly Forbo 2020/21: The Staycation Edit will allow the winner to choose a UK holiday from a series of edits – all of which include lavish handpicked locations.
Julie Dempster, Marketing & Communications Executive at Forbo Flooring Systems, commented: “While the past year has been somewhat different, architects and interior designers have still been working on some incredible projects, which is why we wanted to continue running our Fly Forbo competition this year – albeit it with a slight change.
“This year, we’re giving the Winner and Highly Commended recipients a chance to choose a staycation from one of our specially selected edits. Within the Culture Edit, they are given the chance to step aboard the Flying Scotsman, relax and sleep amongst animals in Port Lympne Safari Park, or admire incredible work from famous artists – including Picasso – at one of the country’s most unique hotels. The Great Outdoors edit will allow them to breathe in the smells of the forest in luxury treehouses or sleep under the stars in transparent domes. Or for those that want a bit of ‘me’ time, there are also a range of spas and hotels to indulge in, within the Luxe Edit.
"However, if none of the edits tickle the winner’s tastebuds, then they can even choose their own staycation location. It’s a competition not to be missed.”
This year’s winning prize is worth up to £6,500 and the commended prize up to £1,500.
