The Architecture Foundation launches a free residency programme to support young architectural practices, in collaboration with Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.
Supporting young architectural talent is at the core of the Architecture Foundation’s mission, and we believe it is especially important to support the next generation after the COVID-19 crisis. We have teamed up with Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, who will be offering eight residencies at the White Collar Factory on Old Street in London.
Running for six months from September 2021 to February 2022, the residency programme will provide free desk and storage space alongside AHMM's staff. Successful candidates will be selected by a jury composed of Simon Allford, co-founder of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Betty Owoo and Amandeep Singh Kalra, co-chairs of the Architecture Foundation's Young Trustees, Ellis Woodman, Director of the Architecture Foundation and Rosie Gibbs-Stevenson, Curator of the Architecture Foundation.
In 2017, the AF supported a residency programme at the co-working space FORA, for which participants included Jayden Ali of JA Projects, Theo Molloy, Chloë Leen and Steve Wilkinson of PUP and Ilaria Catalano, Carla Motola & Neba Sere of WUH.
