The CIBSE Technical Symposium 2022, titled Delivering a safe, healthy and sustainable built environment – Buildings that perform, is seeking abstracts for papers and presentations to be presented at the event in London in April 2022.
Abstracts should be based on recent or current project work, research or application, as well as those that examine actual or potential impacts of our work on the built environment.
The past two years have been dominated by COVID 19 and a focus on building ventilation and healthy indoor environments. But we face two other major challenges which building services engineers are at the heart of: decarbonizing our buildings and infrastructure and delivering net zero carbon buildings over the next 25-30 years; and achieving this low carbon transformation whilst delivering buildings that are safe to occupy, live and work in. And all of this is taking place against a backdrop of increasing use of digital technologies.
The annual Technical Symposium brings together a range of peer reviewed papers and presentations outlining the latest developments in policy, guidance and practice showing how building services engineers can design and deliver safe, healthy, sustainable buildings.
Taking place over two days, the event seeks to bring together practitioners and researchers to consider the latest thinking in our sector and to hear from those who are applying and researching the latest thinking in building services engineering.
We invite short abstracts of proposals for research papers, posters, technical reviews, case studies and opinion presentations that are based on recent or current project work, research or application, as well as those that examine actual or potential impacts of our work on the built environment.
For more information and to make a submission visit: CIBSE - Technical Symposium 2022. Submission deadline is Friday 29 October.
