Marking its 5th-anniversary Graphenstone paints (UK) announces a unique collaboration with the world's oldest public museum, The Ashmolean, to launch a new collection of 16 bespoke colours called 'The Treasured Collection'. This collaboration also marks a significant milestone for the museum as it celebrates its 340th year.
Each colour in this collection has been carefully chosen and specially colour-matched to some of the beautiful treasures and cultural artefacts found at the museum. Colour names; 'Raphael Grey', 'Kingfisher', 'Samurai', and' Renaissance' give the nod to their respective objects of inspiration.
A special edition colour card has been designed to launch this lovely new collection, providing further background on each artefact and its corresponding colour. Every paint purchase will also support Ashmolean and its ongoing work. Available in two finishes, GrafClean and GraphClean Eggshell are mixed mineral paints composed of vegetable resins and other ecological materials and certified as Eurofins' Indoor Air Comfort Gold'. The paints have also been used in public areas at the museum as part of its refurbishment programme and can be seen in the museum shop, cafe, and restaurant areas.
