We welcomed first year roofing students to Manthorpe Building Products on the 21st March, the day started with a tour of our customer experience centre with Area Sales Manager Gordon Johnstone and Development & Technical Director Mike Challinor.

The group was then taken on a factory visit by Planning Manager Conor McLaughlin and Process Engineer Peter Owen who led the groups on a tour of the production facilities where they witnessed the hard work it takes to design, manufacture and supply Manthorpe products.

After lunch, the students were given technical guidance on the important of roof space ventilation, using dry-fix systems and an overview of product testing at BRE by Development & Technical Director Mike Challinor.
The day was a success for all that attended, thank you to Roofing Lecturer/Assessor Dale Yates and all the staff at Leeds College of Building we enjoyed your time, hope you enjoyed the freebies and lunch provided.
