Triflex waterproofing systems were awarded with two major industry prizes at the recent National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) awards. Le Clos Mourant in Jersey won the award for cold liquid applied waterproofing, adding to its earlier Liquid Roofing Waterproofing Association (LRWA) award. The sustainable homes of this striking new build social housing estate used modern materials across four accommodation blocks. Triflex waterproofing systems for warm flat roofs, warm balconies and large central podiums, cantilevered balconies, stairs and entrance canopies delivered seamless, certified waterproofing.
In the roofing awards’ multi discipline project class, the UK’s first Passivhaus leisure centre, St Sidwell’s Point in Exeter took top prize.The Triflex warm roof and terrace systems not only met the stringent U value criteria, but also airtightness was achieved first time demonstrating the installation skills of Triflex Authorised Contractors.
