Building membrane specialist, Industrial Textiles & Plastics (ITP) Ltd, has expanded its portfolio of products with the introduction of a new Euroclass A1 non-combustible breather membrane providing maximum fire safety for external wall systems.
Manufactured by Serge Ferrari Stamisol UK, the new Stamisol A1 product will be supplied in the UK by ITP, extending an established partnership between the two manufacturers. ITP is already the UK supplier of Stamisol Safe One, an award-winning A2-rated breather membrane which the company offers alongside its own range of breather membranes, vapour control layers and other high-performance solutions for the building envelope.
Stamisol A1 has been developed as a leading solution for closed façades, providing the highest possible fire and smoke protection while offering excellent breathability to prevent the build-up of condensation in the insulation layer. Independently tested to EN 13501-1, with a lifetime guarantee for its A1 fire rating, the membrane is engineered for durability to ensure that its performance is not compromised by degradation over time. Stamisol A1 is also age-tested and offers a W2 water tightness rating with 336 hours UV ageing prior to the water test.

To complement these solutions, ITP also manufactures Euroclass A2 and B rated vapour control layers, so architects and contractors can source different wall elements from the same supplier in the knowledge that all products are independently tested and backed by expert technical support.”
