GF Building Flow Solutions, formerly Uponor, has announced a new leadership team for UK and Northern Ireland. Commencing 1st August, its UK and Northern Ireland operations will be jointly led by Sam Barker, as Head of Commercial, and Amar Kataria who will be responsible for Finance and Operations. Together, they will form the country leadership role to manage and drive the business strategy.
Sam Barker joined Uponor in 2010 and has worked in various sales roles including most recently as National Sales Manager. Amar Kataria has been with the company since 2018 as Business Controller. Previously, he worked at Xerox for 14 years in various finance roles, overseeing commercial projects.
“We are delighted to appoint Sam and Amar to drive our business in the UK and Northern Ireland,” says Rogier van Dis, Regional Vice President Northwest Europe at GF Building Flow Solutions. “Together, Sam and Amar will bring their broad experience and knowledge to make the organisation stronger and better able to serve our customers. We will of course continue to further invest in the team and the development of the organisation to provide the best possible solutions for making hot and cold water, wastewater, and energy flow through buildings efficiently.”
