UK Construction Week (UKCW) has announced a new partnership with CIBSE for its upcoming event at ExCeL London from 7-9 May 2025.
As part of this exciting collaboration, CIBSE will contribute valuable content to the Net Zero Hub, focusing on crucial topics including the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.
This partnership underscores both organisations' commitment to driving sustainability within the construction industry and accelerating the transition to net-zero carbon buildings. CIBSE, the leading professional body representing the building services engineering profession, will bring its wealth of knowledge and expertise to the event, enriching the conversations around energy-efficient building systems and sustainable design practices.
“We are thrilled to partner with CIBSE for UK Construction Week’s London event,” said Neil Gaisford, Divisional Director – Construction at UK Construction Week. “CIBSE’s extensive expertise in the built environment and their leadership in advancing the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard will bring essential insights to the Net Zero Hub. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to foster innovation, sustainability, and knowledge exchange within the construction sector.”
CIBSE’s participation highlights the growing importance of collaboration across sectors to address the challenges of climate change and improve the sustainability of buildings. With UKCW focusing on key industry themes such as net-zero strategies, energy efficiency, and green building standards, CIBSE’s presence will provide an essential platform for discussions and practical guidance on how the industry can achieve its sustainability goals.
The Net Zero Hub, a central feature of the UK Construction Week event, will serve as a space for professionals to explore innovative solutions and gain insights into the future of carbon-neutral buildings, with contributions from CIBSE and other leading industry voices.
“We are delighted with this partnership, which is very aligned with key themes of interest to our members, and which gives us an opportunity to engage with a wider audience” said Julie Godefroy, CIBSE Head of Net Zero.
