Milbank Concrete Products is proud to announce the official launch of the refreshed brand identity and website for Kallisto Stairs, its luxury sub-brand specialising in bespoke precast concrete staircases.

The rebrand includes a new logo, refined visual identity, and the launch of a modern website that reflects Kallisto’s position in the high-end architectural and residential market. The evolution of the brand aligns with the expectations of a discerning audience - architects, developers, and private clients working on landmark projects across the UK.

From Milbank Roots to a Luxury Brand

The story of Kallisto began in the 1990s, when Milbank Concrete Products was commissioned to design and manufacture a curved concrete staircase for the University of Essex. That early challenge sparked a journey of innovation that would lead Milbank to develop an adjustable mould system - a breakthrough that enabled the team to produce bespoke curved staircases with exceptional precision.

Soon after, the company was approached by St James (part of the Berkeley Group), marking a shift into the top tier of the UK property market. The need for a distinct, design-led identity gave rise to Kallisto - a name that would become synonymous with architectural drama, smooth flowing form, and structural excellence.


Why the Rebrand?

Originally styled with visual cues from Milbank, including its signature orange, Kallisto’s previous identity no longer matched the market it serves today. The updated branding includes:

  • A new gold and navy colour palette, replacing the industrial orange with tones more closely associated with luxury, elegance, and timelessness.
  • A refined logo, using a sophisticated spiral to reflect the flowing curves of Kallisto staircases.
  • A fully redesigned website (kallistostairs.co.uk), created to inspire architects, support developers, and attract high-net-worth clients who value both beauty and craftsmanship.

More Than Just Aesthetic

The rebrand isn’t simply visual. It’s part of a broader repositioning of Kallisto as a trusted partner in the creation of architectural centrepieces - staircases that are structurally sound, effortlessly elegant, and delivered with precision.

The new site includes:

  • Clear guidance on the quotation and design process
  • Expanded content for architects and specifiers
  • New information on available finishes including polished concrete and exposed aggregate
