The Property Care Association (PCA) has presented an array of accolades to individuals and businesses that have demonstrated outstanding levels of best practice.

The PCA’s 15th annual Property Care Awards was held at Manchester United FC’s iconic Old Trafford stadium as part of the trade body’s annual conferences in Damp and Timber, Structural Waterproofing and Invasive Weeds, which were held at concurrently for the first time.

More than 20 awards were presented during the ceremony, marking achievements across training and staff development, innovation, sustainability and best practice, with a new category introduced this year for Certificated Specialist in Dwelling Ventilation (CSDV).

PCA Chief Executive Sarah Garry hosted the event. She said: “A PCA award is not easily won.

“Categories such as innovation or sustainability are assessed by independent judges, Contractor of the Year accolades are based on audit outcomes and awards for individual Certificated Surveyors, Technicians and Apprentices are given to those achieving the highest marks.

“The event is a celebration of those who demonstrate an exceptional level of best practice and our congratulations go to all the winners as well as those who were shortlisted and highly commended.”

The awards were sponsored by Safeguard Europe, Astute Insurance Solutions, Delta Membrane Systems, Government Business Magazine, Newton Waterproofing Systems, QANW, Shepherd PR, Stallard Kane Associates TrustMark, Pam Ties, Fosroc, Geofabrics and PPS Pumps.
