Kevin McCloud will bring Grand Designs Live, sponsored by Daikin, back to London from 1-4 May 2026.
As the UK’s premier home and design exhibition, the event delivers four days of inspiration, expert advice and cutting-edge design at ExCeL London.
The much-loved show will once again offer visitors an immersive experience across key sectors including build, renovation, kitchens, bedrooms, home and garden, and sustainability.

Showcasing a wide range of exhibitors, from architects, self-build specialists and renovation experts to interior brands and innovative suppliers, Grand Designs LiveLondon is the ultimate destination for anyone planning a home project or simply looking for design inspiration. Visitors can explore hundreds of brands, discover bespoke furnishings and innovative products, and gain practical guidance to help turn ideas into reality.
Taking centre stage at Grand Designs Live London 2026 will be the newest edition of the Grand House; a striking, architect-designed, two-storey contemporary self-build villa created to showcase the very best in modern home innovation.
THE GRAND HOUSE:
Designed to inspire and educate, the Grand House will demonstrate how a home can be successfully decarbonised using renewable energy solutions, without compromising on bold design or luxury finishes. Featuring a dramatic architect-designed fascia, handmade kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, bespoke glazing with floor-to-ceiling windows, advanced energy control systems, a home gym and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces, the Grand House will highlight a variety of UK product launches and cutting-edge technologies.
Throughout the house, visitors will have the opportunity to meet expert advisors from featured brands, learn more about the products on display, and discover innovative solutions available to purchase at the show.
KEVINS GREEN HEROES:
With sustainability firmly at the heart of Grand Designs Live, the Sustainability Theatre, sponsored by Daikin, will host live talks from Kevin McCloud’s personally selected Green Heroes.
These innovators, from emerging start-ups to established leaders, will take to the stage to share the stories behind their products and services, and how they are helping to shape a greener future for the industry.
A selection of Green Heroes will also feature elsewhere at the event.
For the first time, the Sustainability Hub will combine a live theatre programme with an advice centre, giving visitors the chance to receive one-to-one guidance on making their homes more energy efficient and future-proof.
Returning features for 2026, also include a strong programme of live talks and dedicated advice centres, designed to support visitors at every stage of their home project:
Across the show, visitors will be able to hear directly from industry experts, ask questions, and gain tailored advice for their own projects.
Grand Designs Live London 2026 is proud to be supported by a range of leading brands. Daikin joins the show as Headline Sponsor, as well as sponsor of the Sustainability Hub. Additional key partners include Cosentino, Howdens, Quiet Mark, Smeg, Hydropool and Grabex, with many of these brands featured within the Grand House itself.
Richard Morey, Show Director of Grand Designs Live, said, “Grand Designs LiveLondon 2026 is about showing what’s possible right now. From smarter ways to design and build, to practical solutions for creating more efficient, comfortable homes, this year’s show is focused on ideas visitors can genuinely take away and apply.
“The Grand House brings those ideas to life at full scale, while our theatres and advice centres give people direct access to the experts behind the products and innovations shaping the future of home design. Whether visitors are at the early planning stage or ready to build, the London show is designed to support every step of the journey. Kevin can’t wait to welcome you all!”
