Manufactured with safety in mind
Firman Glass can manufacture laminated glass to a maximum size of 2850mm x 4950mm. Not only can we supply high quality safety and structural glass products, but we can also achieve any bespoke decorative design requested by the architect using specialist printed or coloured interlays.
The main benefits of toughened laminated glass are its strength and performance under impact and post fracture. It is capable of withstanding very large loads and in the unlikely event of being broken, the resulting fragments will be retained by the interlayer. This is vital on certain types of projects such as airports, shopping centres, train stations, balustrades, floors and canopies or anywhere safety and security becomes a major issue.
Add a unique touch with coloured interlayers
Firman Glass stocks all clear and Vanceva coloured interlayers. The Vanceva interlayer system offers architects and designers unparalleled creative freedom to incorporate colour into glass and glazing systems. Vanceva interlayers, laminated in between two pieces of glass, offer all the safety benefits of laminated glass including security, solar, sound insulation and UV protection.
Producing a broad spectrum of colours and moods that are unachievable using stock selections of glass, Vanceva gives the creative freedom architects and interior designers desire. A palette of 16 colours can be combined in up to four layers to produce more than 3,000 custom, transparent, translucent and opaque glass colours.

Anti-slip Decorative glass
Our toughened and laminated anti-slip glass range is tested to both UK and European Standards. This glass can be processed, shaped, drilled as required as well as being laminated with Vanceva coloured interlayers.
Anti-slip glass can be used for:

- Stair treads
