Swish Roofline and Cladding systems are designed to provide long-life protection for the eaves and external walls. They are resistant to the elements and do not need the life-time maintenance that is required by traditional materials. Swish cellular PVC-U is a hard wearing, low maintenance material with a high degree of thermal insulation and fire resistance. It does not need painting or protective coatings, is impervious to water and resistant to insect attack.
Swish carry the BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing Certification and attracts maximum points for responsible sourcing under the Code for Sustainable Homes. Swish became one of the first materials companies outside the aggregates industry to pass the assessment for BES6001 and did so with a “Very Good” rating. This enables Swish to offer developers maximum points under sections Mat2 and Mat 3 for responsible sourcing of fascias, cladding and skirting.
The Swish Roofline range offers the specifier a fully integrated fascia, soffit and bargeboard system with a wide range of components in plain, decorative, white and coloured finishes for new build and replacement projects. The system includes provision for ventilation into the roof void to meet current Building Regulations. Air flow may be achieved through pre-cuts slots in the soffit or through a ventilator unit over the top of the fascia board. The latter gives a clean look to the soffit and a tidier appearance to the roofline overall.
Swish cladding is a weatherproof rain screen layer that can help to improve the thermal performance of a property when installed in combination with insulation. The A+ external wall system under Mat1 of the code for sustainable homes attracts the maximum 3 points available. There is a choice of Shiplap, Open V, TeeGee and Featheredge designs in a range of four sizes.
