The energy efficient Vort Notus fan (one fan for any room) has proved a hit for social housing applications. A de-centralised continuous mechanical axial extract fan which works on a simple ‘one fan for any room’ basis, Vort Notus is particularly useful for refurbishments and for social housing. This continuously running ADF System 3 fan has the clean, sleek lines that we’ve come to expect from Vortice’s Italian design team and is also SAP Q eligible. A simple pin mechanism in the back enables the installer to change the performance of Notus according to the dwelling it is located in; settings run from 5 litres per second to 10 litres per second with a 15 litres per second boost. Vort Notus’ constant airflow control ensures the nominal performances in a wide range of alternative situations; one single fan is for wall, ceiling and in-duct installations.
Vort Notus is also available in two other models; one equipped with a timer and the other a humidity version (Vort Notus T HCS) for wall and ceiling installations only .This allows the automatic switch from minimum to maximum airflow according to the humidity in the room. Andrew Dickinson, Technical Manager at Vortice said: “The Vort Notus is highly energy efficient, is ideal for refurbishments and has been designed with simplicity for the installer and end consumer in mind.” Vortice supplies the UK market with all products from stock, with delivery lead times of approximately two to three days.
