MAP Environmental is proud to set industry standards by providing the only solar PV systems in the UK to have attained full BBA approval. 2012, sees it taking its portfolio to the next level with the launch of four new products at Ecobuild.
Ecobuild provides MAP Environmental the opportunity to showcase its latest products. In addition to its current market leading PV products, Gallium ZNSHINE and Non Gallium ZNSHINE, rated the highest ranked mono-crystalline panels for two consecutive months in 2011 by PHOTON Laboratory, it will be introducing its new generation own branded panels, MAP Power (Non Gallium) and MAP Power Plus (Gallium), which are built to the same high specifications as ZNSHINE.
Also new to the market from MAP Environmental is MAP LED. Light-emitting diodes can be used in lieu of standard light bulbs, offering 5% energy consumption compared with traditional lighting solutions and are one of the world’s fastest growing renewable technologies.
MAP Environmental will also be launching Photovoltaic Thermal panels (PV-T), hybrids that convert solar radiation into thermal and electrical energy. Ideal for smaller roofs, PV-T is economically advantageous as the two technologies work together to operate more efficiently and with one panel providing two functions, installation costs are reduced. MAP Environmental’s PV-T panels come with MCS approval, making them eligible for the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
MAP Environmental’s stand at Ecobuild reflects its position as an industry frontrunner, passionate about providing the highest quality renewable energy solutions. Stand S3030 will be one of the largest at the show (150m²) over two floors. Impressively, it has succeeded in creating an eye catching aesthetic design and ensuring the materials used in its construction comply with the ethos of an event, which at its heart promotes sustainability.
The company is also setting an example in keeping with its commitment to become a carbon neutral business by the year 2013. Energy consumption will be kept to a minimum, as the stand will be lit up with LED lighting. Literature on stand will all be 100% recycled paper and it will endeavour to be as paperless as much as possible, offering information to clients on memory sticks. Much of the stand will be re-usable at its new offices and showroom in Kent. As for the staff themselves, they will all be getting to and from the exhibition via coach to minimise their carbon footprint and even refreshments will be locally sourced.
If all that doesn’t entice you to come and say hi, MAP Environmental are offering one lucky visitor the chance to win a state of the art electric scooter, by simply dropping off their business card at the stand or by going online to www.mapenvironmental.co.uk . The Etropolis is a retro styled scooter, which not only looks the part but will get you around town, carbon emission free, with a silicon 2000w battery and a road speed of up to 30 m/h.
