Hotel and Facilities Management by Leisure Connection, a leading operator of outsourced leisure facilities within the private and hotel sector, has announced a major annual profit rise following a commercial restructure of the business in October 2011.
It has achieved its strongest financial year to date, with a year on year sales increase of 62.5%.
The financial success comes as a result of a reported 87.5% membership rise across the nine hotel based health and fitness facilities Hotel and Facility Management by Leisure Connection manages in partnership with its client partners. The leisure operator has also halved membership rejections to just 6%.
Steve Bambury, Head of Hotels at Leisure Connection, commented: “In 2011 we made a commercial decision to restructure the business to drive a major increase in membership and in turn profit.
“This has seen us invest £300k into the redevelopment of the sites we manage, in addition to investing £25k into staff training. The result speaks for itself and we are confident that this growth will continue into 2013.”
