EnviroVent, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of ventilation systems, has launched an innovative new whole house mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system, designed for the new build sector.
The new energiSava 250 offers a cost-effective solution for housebuilders to meet System 4 of Building Regulations Part F requirements and is one of the most compact, light weight and energy efficient whole house heat recovery systems on the market.
Manufactured in the UK, the energiSava 250 is ideal for small-to-medium size houses and apartments, with the capability to effectively ventilate the kitchen, plus five other ‘wet’ rooms. It has been designed to fit into the space of a standard kitchen cupboard and is very straightforward to install, requiring no additional specialist trades on site.
Peter Haynes, Product Manager at EnviroVent, said: “We have responded to demand from housebuilders with this innovative new MVHR system that meets current and future Building Regulations requirements. Because of its compact design, it is ideal for the small to medium sized house or apartment and offers a very effective solution to the issue of ventilation within a property.”
The energiSava 250 offers low energy consumption and uses an intelligent humidity tracking system to ensure a property is correctly ventilated at all times to control condensation and improve indoor air quality. With an automatic summer bypass the unit controls the temperature of the incoming air on warmer days and the frost sensor protects the unit during the colder months. Easy to maintain and clean, the exchangeable filters can be changed by the householder.
The energiSava 250 works by extracting moisture laden air and re-supplying clean, fresh air into a property. The low energy consumption system creates an all-year-round, healthy indoor environment, which has been proven to help homeowners who suffer from conditions such as asthma, hay fever and bronchial related conditions.
More housebuilders are choosing MVHR systems because they are one of the most effective ways of ventilating a property to achieve Part F requirements and improve SAP ratings.
