Leading integrated support services company, Carilllion, has been awarded the 2012 ‘Education Builder of the Year’ Award at the Education Investor Awards, held at the Hilton Park Lane.
The awards promote excellence and innovation within the UK’s education sector, and Carillion fought off stiff competition from Balfour Beatty, Shepherd Construction, UNITE Group and Willmott Dixon to secure the title for the third year running.
Gareth Jackson, Academies Director at Carillion, commented: “Our widespread experience in the sector has given us extensive knowledge of the best methods to design and construct new and refurbished schools, including recognition of the associated whole life costs to ensure quality and durability for educational facilities.
“We have captured the lessons learnt over the past two decades and our teams continue to focus on continuous improvement processes, ensuring that there is a real and genuine added value in our offer. Well done to everyone involved.”
