Jablite has been short-listed for the INCA 2012 Awards in the Domestic Refurbishment - Low Rise (5 houses or fewer) category.
The awards showcase the best of external wall insulation (EWI) and its contribution to improving the energy efficiency of buildings in the UK.
“We are delighted to be shortlisted alongside industry leaders such as Saint Gobain Weber, Hanson Structherm and Alumasc,” says David Williams, Marketing Manager, Jablite.
“Being shortlisted recognises a joint effort between Lawtech, Dryvit, PRP and Jablite. We are particularly pleased as the Rampton Drift project showcases our innovative Jablite Dynamic external wall insulation and gave us an opportunity to demonstrate its outstanding performance and how easy it is to install.”
Once the work at Rampton Drift was complete, the thermal performance of Jablite Dynamic insulation was measured over a period of four weeks by Glasgow Caledonian University and the U-values of the Dynamic walls on the two properties were 0.10W/m²K and 0.05W/m²K.
The installation went very smoothly and was completed in nine days (with one day lost to rain); the main contractor had allowed four weeks and the contractor three weeks, so they and the householders were pleased with that there was no difficulty or delays during the installation.
The awards will be presented at the INCA Conference & Exhibition on Wednesday 3 October at The Albert Hall in Nottingham.
