The government recently announced plans to introduce new legislation to make it mandatory for smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms to be installed in private rented properties.
Sprue’s FireAngel branded smoke and carbon monoxide alarm products have been used for many years by the UK Fire and Rescue Services as part of their Home Safety Campaigns and we are proud to be selected to support this important initiative.
Sprue will continue to supply an innovative portfolio of UK designed smoke and CO alarms which combine latest sensing technology and aesthetic design.
Mark Cashin, Home Safety Lead at the Chief Fire Officers’ Association said: “We are delighted that the Government has responded to our campaign and are bringing in this life-saving legislation.
“FireAngel is a brand known throughout the industry and we are pleased that Sprue’s support will enable us to run a major campaign to raise awareness of the new legislation and ensure these inexpensive but life-saving alarms are fitted to protect some of our most vulnerable families.”
