In a drive to further satisfy the growing trend for using special brick blends, Wienerberger - the UK’s leading provider of wall, roof and landscaping solutions - has extended its market-leading portfolio of clay facing bricks with the launch of two new soft mud blends.
The Athena Blend offers a warm red base colour with a mix of light orange to dark purple hues, while the Weathered Gault Blend offers a gentle mix of light golden tones with a subtle weathering effect. Both products have an attractive hand-creased texture, which adds further character.
With demand growing for softmud bricks and the versatility that blends provide, the two new products are expected to appeal to a spectrum of customers, from architects and specifiers, to house builders and selfbuilders.
Lee Pauls, Wall Category Product Manager, commented: “We are seeing more and more customers looking to blend different bricks together to create distinctive effects.
"These two new bricks are an exciting addition to our growing range of blended bricks. We also offer our Brick Mix service, giving our clients the choice to combine any of our bricks together to create their own signature blend.
"We’ve seen some really interesting selections over the past few months and look forward to seeing what our customers come up with next.”
