Made-to-measure loft hatches

If you only need a replacement loft hatch, then consider a bespoke loft hatch. This has all of the benefits of the above, but without a ladder. Options include thermally insulated and airtight wooden loft hatches, as well as fire-rated wooden and steel hatches. All feature a counter-balance spring for safe and easy opening and closing.

Loft ladders without a hatch

Perhaps you have an existing loft hatch that you would like to keep? If so, there are a range of options available, including retractable aluminium ladders that are designed for easy installation above an existing trapdoor. The main benefit of these are that they can fit into very small ceiling openings. This is due to their space-saving concertina mechanism. Also, they minimise intrusion into the loft space above.
