Building envelope specialist, CA Group Limited, has announced that its Prime VII rainscreen has been successfully installed on a brand new distribution warehouse for iconic British fashion brand, Boden.
The 250,000 sq ft warehouse, which comprises a 25,000 sq ft office complex, is located at one of the most sought after distribution hubs in the UK: Optimus Point, in Leicester.
Yorkshire Sheeting and Insulation Services Limited was tasked with the installation of the cladding on this showcase project, which is set to become Boden’s main UK distribution base.
Stephen Long, Commercial Director for Yorkshire Sheeting, explained: “This project was all about the aesthetic for a hugely prestigious brand, as such we wanted to make sure everything went according to plan. We have a lot of history with CA Group which provided a great deal of reassurance and the warehouse looks fantastic - the team delivered on every level.”
Chris Priestley, Rainscreen Systems Manager for CA Building Products, added: “While we have worked with Yorkshire Sheeting for many years on many successful projects, this was the first time they had installed our Prime cladding solution.
"We worked closely with the installation team to provide all the necessary support and training, carrying out regular site visits and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Time was a significant factor on the manufacturing front and we worked tirelessly to ensure all materials were delivered to site on time.”
The state-of-the-art facility was developed for Wilson Bowden working with Stephen George and Partners architectural practice.
