Legrand has developed the ideal solution for convenient, high speed USB charging, power supply and data connection at the workstation with the launch of its new Electrak Intersoc on-desk range.
Carrying power, data and USB charging to the desk in a discreet, stylish and compact unit, the new range offers rapid charging for up to two mobile devices via twin USB outlets with 3.1 Amp charging capacity.
It has been developed to address the need for office workers and professionals to charge mobile devices including tablets and smart phones as quickly and conveniently as possible, enabling both a tablet and a smart phone to charge simultaneously at a faster rate than common, lower output chargers.
The new range has also been developed to offer speed and ease of installation and greater flexibility for the installer. Compatible with a wide range of data solutions, including plug and play Cat 5/6 and data USB, the Intersoc on-desk range features a data connector at both the front and rear of the unit, allowing the installer to select the appropriate type and length of cable and connect it straight into the module. High specification Cat 6a solutions are also available.
The cleverly-designed cable exit at the rear of the unit avoids the need to bend data cables, removing the risk of loss of data integrity that could otherwise be caused by kinks in Cat 6a or Cat 7 cables. They are also compatible with Euromod outlets, any device from within Legrand’s Arteor modular wiring accessories range or keystone jacks.
Ideal for any office layout and particularly useful for facilitating flexible working and hot desking, the stylish Intersoc units complement the aesthetics of high end office interiors with a ‘mirror’ white finish within a sleek aluminium casing.
