Leading paint manufacturer Crown Paints will be bringing home the benefits of supply chain collaboration at the forthcoming Procurement for Housing (PfH) Live conference by showcasing a range of solutions designed to help specifiers working in the social housing sector create colourful, cost-effective and high-quality decoration schemes.
The key industry event, which takes place from 25th-27th June as part of the annual Chartered Institute of Housing event in Manchester, will see Crown take up position on Stand P11. From here specifiers will be able to find out more about Crown’s specification support packages, which include guidance on appropriate colour schemes and help with product specification to improve standards and reduce maintenance cycles, as well as the company’s innovative product range of exterior and interior paints and specialist coatings.
One service that is sure to be of interest to clients working in the social housing market is Crown’s Home Decorating Scheme which is available for delivery via the nationwide network of Crown Decorating Centres. There is a choice of Home Decorating Packs available and each is tailored to provide flexible, cost-effective schemes for various property types. Crown can also offer solutions to some of the most common housing problems, including how to help keep paint finishes looking their best for longer, as well as advising methods for the redecoration of void properties.
Crown will also be exhibiting a number of products that are ideally suited to meeting the requirements of the housing sector including Crown Trade’s Timonox, a flame retardant paint system that inhibits the spread of fire and can help housing providers comply to the relevant fire and safety standards. Other innovative products on display will be Crown Trade’s Clean Extreme range of highly durable and scrubbable paints which have been developed to tackle to the common maintenance problems of stains, mould and bacteria.
The issue of sustainability will also be a key focus on Crown’s stand, with the paint manufacturer offering visitors the chance to find out more about the environmental credentials of both the company’s product range and manufacturing processes. Key to this is Crown’s ‘Can Back’ initiative which encourages customers to return their empty paint containers for reuse or recycling. Information will also be available about Crown’s commitment to reducing plastic waste, after the company became the first paint manufacturer in the UK to launch paint containers made from 100 per cent recycled post-consumer waste (PCW) plastic.
