It all started thanks to a £500 loan between father and son. A wide-eyed Frederick Henry Brundle arrived in London with a dream of making it big – spotting a gap in the market by selling nails and ironmongery and then sundries for the farriers’ industry. 137 years on, F.H.Brundle is still very much a family business, now owned and managed by Michael Brundle (fifth generation).

F.H.Brundle is the UK’s largest stockist of wrought iron components, welded wire mesh, and expanded and perforated metal available from stock for immediate delivery. Other product ranges include stainless steel handrail components, aluminium and WPC fencing and decking, tube clamps, and industrial steel flooring. In addition to gate hardware and CAME gate automation equipment, F.H.Brundle is also one of the largest stockholders of steel sections in the UK.

Our transport fleet has grown to more than 70 vehicles, of all sizes, operating across the UK. This gives us complete control over deliveries, enabling us to transport everything from the smallest package to the largest steel section efficiently and reliably. Still, after many years, F.H. Brundle offers free delivery on orders over £150.
