Kenoteq

Cleantech company Kenoteq is transforming the construction industry with the ultra-low carbon K-BRIQ, a revolutionary building material that turns nearly 100% recycled construction and demolition waste into high-performance bricks. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods that drain finite resources and contribute to landfill waste, our fully circular, patented production process requires no firing and enables fast production.

The K-BRIQ is certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA), the UK's leading construction certification body. This allows confident specification across a wide range of construction projects, from facades and feature walls to brick plinths and exterior landscaping projects, satisfying insurance, warranty, and mortgage requirements.

Grounded in over a decade of university research, we also manufacture the K-SLIP which gives a surface appearance of a brick but with significantly less volume, weight and carbon.

This makes them particularly suitable for external facades and for offsite and modular construction. They are also popular for interior features, surfaces and walls to maximise valuable floorspace whilst reducing costs and carbon and promoting an industrial or sustainable aesthetic.

Reasons to use Kenoteq products:

● Environmental leadership - 95% lower embodied carbon than traditional fired clay brick alternatives

● Circular economy credentials - using nearly 100% recycled construction and demolition waste

● Aesthetic flexibility - Available in 12 colours produced using recycled pigments, offering architects and designers creative freedom without environmental compromise

● Technical excellence - BBA-certified with maximum durability rating and high fire rating variants, matching conventional brick performance standards while maintaining innovative sustainability credentials
