Marley Ltd Shingles and Shakes
Marley Ltd Dry Fix and Ventilation
Base Layers - Marley underlays and roof battens form the first building block of the Marley roof system. The seamless compatibility of all elements of our roof system ensures reduced liability of design and installation. This means you are left with less wastage and more time to focus on the design and management of your project. We provide you with the peace of mind that underneath the attractive covering is a construction made of base layers offering a durable and low maintenance roofing solution.
JB Red - Our JB Red battens are testament to that, being the only UK factory graded roof batten with BBA certification. Produced only from high-grade, slow-grown and kiln-dried sideboards our JB Red Battens provide maximum strength and stability. Underlays - Both the non-breathable membrane preferred in constructions with traditional ventilation methods, and the breathable roof membrane used where the transfer of moisture vapour from roof space is required, offer multiple features to promote consistent installation to the British Standard. There is no need for the laps to coincide with tile batten courses, making the installation of our membranes easier and quicker, whilst reducing wastage - adding to the cost efficiency of your project.
Roof Covering - The Marley range of roof tiles have been designed for performance, aesthetics and easy installation. Choose from clay tiles and concrete tiles in a wide range of colours and styles, as well as the Marley SolarTile® solar panel and cedar shingles and shakes.
Clay - In applying modern technology to a traditional building material Marley has created an innovative collection of pitched clay roof tiles that are visually beautiful as well as extremely long-lasting, requiring very little ongoing maintenance. Concrete - Marley’s collection of affordable concrete roof tile and pantile combines outstanding aesthetics with high-quality to ensure that your roof stands out from the rest.
Shingles & Shakes - Our versatile roof shingles and shakes have a natural charm that can create both a modern look, or a rustic appearance respectively, and they’re made from responsibly sourced western red cedar.
Solar - Marley SolarTile® roof panels replace standard roofing tiles or slates, giving you the benefit of both a weatherproof roof covering and electricity generating solution. They enhance design possibilities, creating sleek aesthetics and provide industry-leading wind and fire performance. What's more, we offer both a 25 year panel efficiency guarantee, and when used as part of complete Marley Roof System, a 15 year warranty on the full system for added peace of mind. Finishings - We pay as much attention to the design of our roofing accessories as we do to our hugely successful range of roof tiles in order to provide seamless roof systems suitable for all building projects that are simple to install and require minimal ongoing maintenance.
Fittings - Our extensive range of roof fittings can provide a seamless finish to your roofing project, whether it be traditional or modern, large or small. At Marley, compatibility of form and function is key, so our roof fittings are available in a range of colours and finishes to match our complete tile range.
Fixings - An increase in the occurrence of extreme weather conditions over the last few years, bringing gale force winds, driving rain and heavy snowfall, has highlighted the need for secure roof systems. BS 5534, the enduring standard for best practice with regards to roof installations, was updated in 2014 to directly address concerns about the impact on roof fixings from such severe weather. It requires even more robust mechanical roof fixing, even where the roof system is mortar-bedded, and especially where clipping is involved.
Weatherboard - Manufactured using a combination of cement, cellulose fibres and water, Marley's fibre-cement cladding provides a durable, attractive and cost-effective facade for the exteriors of
homes and commercial buildings. Our cement fibre cladding offers excellent weather resistance, the potential for thermal insulation and a market-leading BRE fire safety classification of A2-s1, d0. It's easy to install using traditional tools, and it provides the beauty of natural timber with none of the concerns around rot, maintenance or repainting.
